NEEA is committed to achieving the following objectives:

• Advance generally the interests of the elevator industry in relation to the manufacture, installation, repair, service and maintenance of elevators and moving stairways and related products;

• Act on behalf of its members in collective bargaining matters;

• Advance sound engineering practices and safety principles with the elevator industry, including co-operation with government bodies with respect thereto;

• Advance the interests of the industry in relation to elevator codes;

• Conduct research into matters of interest to its members;

• Compile and provide statistical and other information relevant to the requirements of its members;

• Co-operate with other organizations in matters of mutual interest

• Work with labour organizations to maintain a highly skilled and stable workforce

• Keep its members apprised of any issues or matters that may be of interest
